Robert Nicholson, travelling draper, was fined by the Resident Magistrate at Cromwell.'for carrying on the business of a hawker without a license, contrary to the by-laws of the borough. The appellant admitted taking orders for goods and delivering those after, bub was careful to sell only by sample. As the case is of considerable importance tho Judge took time to consider his decision.
