OKOROIRE.
I AnVFPTTmtTOT 1
TO TliE EDITOR. Sir,—l consider Okoroire par excellence. the place to stay at en route to the Hot Lake district. The springs seem excellent, and the baths are well appointed, so- that these waters should form an excellent introduction for invalids before proceeding to the stronger waters of Rotorua. The natural beauties-o£ the place are very great, and would form an attraction in themselves apart from the mineral springs, while the accommodation at the hotel is good. Had time permitted, I could have spent several weeks at Okoroire with pleasure and benefit, and anyone going through to the Lakes would best consider his interests by staying at Okoroire en route, as it has many attractions and advantages not possessed by Oxford, the other halting place, to which, however, tourists are apt. to go in ignorance of the many beauties and advantages of Okoroire.—l am, &c., Joint F.
