[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunkdin, Saturday. At the Macrae 11. M. Court, the hearing of a charge of perjury against Father Donnelly, arising out of a recent case in which a man named Hart-long was bound over to keep the peace for causing a scene in church, was heard before Messrs. Ewing and A. 1). Bell, J.P.'u. Mr. Dalgleish, R.M., who heard the first ease, in his evidence stated that the portion of Father Donnelly's evidence, regarding which the information. was laid, had been ruled by him not to be relevant to the charge before the Court. The Bench decided that it would be no use, under these circumstances, to send the case to a higher Court, and no further evidence was taken. A charge of abusive language made against Father Donnelly also fell to the ground, the information being bad.
