SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO A BOY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT. J Thames, Sunday. A little boy named George Rabe, seven years of age, son of Mr. H. Rabe, manager of the Magnolia mine, narrowly escaped being killed last evening. He was playing on a footbridge running alongside the county water race, at the head of Sealey-3treet, when he accidentally fell off to the ground about 10 feet, striking heavily on the right side of the head. lie was unconscious for several hours, and on recovering vomited'up a lot of blood, and has since had several convulsive fits. Dr. Payne was called in', but as the case was so bad he also called in Dr. Callan. The lad is much easier to-day, but is still in a precarious condition.
