A great explosion occurred, inflicting fearful abdomenal wounds. Tho prizes for tho late Dog Show will be distributed at W. J. Hurst and Co. s Office, Queen-street, on Saturday, from seven to nine p.m. Mr. Gilbert Ronntree was fined 40s and costs yesterday for letting off fireworks to tho danger of Mr. J. 11. A salo of work and Christmas tree will be held in tho Foresters' Hall, Newton, on Friday and Saturday next, in aid of funds of St. Peter's Presbyterian Church.
