TIMARU SUPREME COURT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION*.] Timaru, Wednesday. At tho Supreme Court thoro were only two criminal cases. A lad of 14, an errand boy, who had just left school, pleaded guilty to forging and uttering a cheque for £1. Ho was admitted to probation for three months. An old offender giving the name of King, who had been previously convicted at Hawora and Patea, was found guilty of stealing £2 7s from the bedroom of tho Junction Hotel. He was sentenced to three years' penal servitude. His previous game had been imposing on hotelkefepers, and in this he gave out he was a son of the Bishop of Lincoln.
