FRENCH CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES.
.DEFEAT OF THE MINISTRY. Paris, November 22., v The Chamber of Deputies insisted on the Government taking steps for the abolition of the monopoly which exists in the manufacture of matches. The Government resisted, but on a division they were defeated by a majority of 76.
