THE DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dpnkdin, Monday. At a meeting of the shareholders of the Exhibition to-night, it was announced that 10,293 shares had been paid.for and completed, 550 had been applied for but not completed, and there was a sum of £375 by way of advertising. The Bank of New Zealand had intimated that they would respond to the call, and it was believed other banks would follow. A vote was then taken as to site, when by a large majority the site in Crawford-street block, recommended by the directors, was carried by a very large majority.
