FIRE AT ARCHHILL.

On* Saturday afternoon a fire broke out in a six-roomed house, owned and occupied by Mr. James Halliday, bootmaker, Commercial Road, which was burned down. Halliday's family had gone on a visit at the time of the outbreak to one of their relatives. He had been down town to get some work, and the tire occurred shortly after he got home, and had gono downstuirs to his workroom.
