FIRE AT ARCHHILL.
On* Saturday afternoon a fire broke out in a six-roomed house, owned and occupied by Mr. James Halliday, bootmaker, Commercial Road, which was burned down. Halliday's family had gone on a visit at the time of the outbreak to one of their relatives. He had been down town to get some work, and the tire occurred shortly after he got home, and had gono downstuirs to his workroom. Some hay was stored there for the He is unable to account for the origin of the fire, but it is probable a match bud been inadvertently thrown down. The house was insured for £130 in the South British in favour of Mr. Sademan, of Vulcan Lane.
