AN INFANT DROWNED.
On Saturday evening, the infant daughter of Mr. Fred Horsmau, of Piha Bay, Waibakerei, aged two years, was found floating in the creek. She had been seen playing about the house a few minutes previously, and had wanderod unobserved to the creek. On the recovery of the body by the father, 3very effort was mado to resuscitate Life, but without avail. The particulars were reported to the police authorities, as Mr. Beetham, the district coroner, ia away at Molbourne at present.
