Some first-class picked stone was taken out while I was on the ground, and they have a large quantity of such stuff in the strong box. They are getting gold in two or three places, and on the whole the show is better than it has been for years, in fact it is almost as cood as when they first got it, and has the appearance of being much more permanent. They are putting the batter}' into good order, and will have a good crushing in a week or two.
