THE GISBORNE HARBOUR WORKS.
[by telegraph.— press association.] Gisborne, Thursday. The official declaration of the harbour poll shows that 600 ratepayers, representing: a value of £904,469, voted for going on with the works, and 30 ratepayers, of a valuation of £48,970, voted against. There wore 308 absentees and others who did not vote representing a value of £407,441.
