THE DAIRY INSPECTOR.

HASTY RETURN SOUTH. [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J Hamilton-, Tuesday. Mr. McCallkjm, the Government Dairy Instructor, arrived here by train to-day, and went out to Mr. Reynolds' Butter Factory at Newsbead, somo seven or eight miles from Hamilton. In all probability Mr. McCallum will return South to-morrow en route for the South, having received a telegram since his arrival here calling him away. This is to be regretted, as much good was expected from his visit to this part of the country, dairy produce being a staple industry in Waikato, and one in which there is much room for improvement, both in cheese and butter making.
