GORED BY A BOAR.
A shocking mishap (says a Melbourne contemporary) befel Mr. John Woods, of Castle Hill, some days ago. When going across the paddock adjoining the residence of Mr. J. W. Foster, whoso adopted son ho is, ho was suddenly attacked by a boar, knocked down, and gored. His two thighs were laid open by the tusks of the beast, and terrible injuries inflicted, from which the blood literally streamed. There are grave fears as to his recovery.
