[press association.]

Sydney, March 30. Mr. Bernard C. Molloy, M.P. for Birr, King's County, is a passenger by the Tarawera, which left to-day for Auckland.

Mr. Bernard Charles Molloy is peculiarly distinguished. Ho is an ex-captain in the French army ; ho is an English barrister, and is a private chamberlain to the Pope. He was elected for his native county King's County—in 1880, having unsuccessfully contested it against two other Home Rollers in 1874. He was educated at St. Edmund's College, Hertfordshire, and at the University of Bonn. Ho is forty-five years old.
