CHARGE OF INCENDIARISM.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Helensville, Thursday. Two young men, residents at lvaukapakapa, Harry Smith and John Kelly, were charged before Messrs. McLeod and Walker, Justices, with setting fire to a haystack, the property of Hugh Fulton, on the 24th insfc. Mr. Cotter defended. The evidence tended to show that the accused wove under the influence of drink when they committed the alleged offence. They were arrested by Constable Foreman. The Court considered the evidence sufficient to warrant them in sending the case for trial, and committed the accused accordingly, bail being allowed.
