VICTORIA WOOL AND GRAIN MARKETS.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have issued a neat pamphlet entitled, "Annual Review of the Victorian Wool and Grain Markets, 1887-8." It contains useful and interesting tables showing tho importation of foreign and colonial wool into the United Kingdom from 1878 to IS.S7 : the exports from the colonies to England and Ameiica; the fluctuations in the value of colonial wools for the past ten years, etc. Information is also given respecting the attendance at the sales, the prices, the company's operations, etc. We are also informed as to sheepskins, hides, leather, tallow, bark, and grain. The following figures show the number of bales handled by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company for tho past five years, the total of the past season exceeding its predecessor by 11,497 bales :—
