London, December 16. The article in the Invalid© Russe upon the political situation in Europe haa created uneasiness in Germany and Austria, and the Hungarian Press vigorously demand that the Austrian Government should at once adopt precautionary measures for the safety of the Empire. The semi-official Journal de St. Petersbourg, while endorsing the view of the situation taken by the Invalide Russe, expresses a belief that the peace of Europe is long assured, thanks to the good relations existing between Russia and her neighbours.
