ROTORUA ITEMS.

[BY. TELEGRAPH.-— CORRESPONDENT.J Rotorua, Friday. The Marquis and Marohioneas of Drogheda arrived here last night by special from Oxford. To-day they are cruising about on Lake Rotorua, visiting the pioturesqua Island of Mokoia and other plaoes of interest in the immediate locality. Time will not permit of a trip either to Waiotapu or to the volcanoes, as they will leave here to-morrow morning for the South overland, via Taupo.

From a telegram to hand, I hear that Dr. DeLias, his wife, and a party are driving overland in their own trap, four-in-hand, from Napier, and will arrive here to-morrow evening. They have arranged with Mr Jaa. Brownlie to guide them through the Waio« tapu, and considering that that gentleman has been engaged for the last twelve months iu exploring and opening up this wonderful valley, none should know it better. We have at present 24 genuine tourists in our midst, and the weather is delightful.
