DISCARDED.

THE POLICY OF SELF.

SIR J. VOGEL AND HIS COLLEAGUES.

MINISTERIAL INDIGNATION.

SYMPATHY WITH STOUT.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.]

Wellington, Tuesday. On the authority of the Proas it is stated that the supporters of Sir Robert Stout and the other members of tho Cabinet are exceedingly wroth with Sir Julius Vogel upon a question of political decorum, but the paragraph shall speak for itself as follows : — "The supporters of Sir R. Stout and Mr. Ballance arc exceedingly indignant at the proposal which has been so unblushingly urged by Sir J. Vogel's organ, that a coalition should be formed between that gentleman and Major Atkinson to the exclusion of the other members of the present Cabinet. Personal relations among Ministers are consequently, we understand, far from pleasant, and it will be a happy release for them all when they receive their conge, as they probably will before the end of toe week. A great deal of sympathy is felt with Sir R, Stout on account of the unworthy and ungrateful treatment he has received from a colleague who is entirely indebted to him for his reentry into politics, and subsequent enjoyment of office for three years.
