PARNELL ELECTION.

TO THK EDITOR.

Sir, —Will you kindly insert the following Certain statements are being freely circulated amongst the electors, that Mr. Seymour T. George asked me to use my position of an employer to influence Mr. Guird's vote. As such statements tend to reflect on me, and also to injure Mr. George's chances of sucoesß, I beg to give them an emphatic denial. Mr, George did not in any way endeavour to do what is stated. It is simply an election cry, made with the intention of injuring Mr. George in the eyes of the electors. —i am, &c., Jas. J. Holland.
