COROMANDEL SCHOOL OF MINES.
A LABGELX ATTENDED meeting of those in* tereeted in establishing » School of Mines assembled at Boyri's on Saturday evening last. Mr. Bockliff ; n the chair. After some of the rules bad been adopted, Mr. Rookliff was compelled to lo.ve on other business, and Mr. J. H. Harris.in was voted to the chair. The rest of the rues were then adopted, and Mr. Cad man was elected president. Messrs. WoulUms and (latland were also proposed, but declined the honour. Messrs. Hodge and Rockhff were elected vice-preeidente, Mr. L. W. Kdwards secretary, Mr. Colebrook treasurer, und six of a committee. The members are very enthusiastio, and no doubt with a little outside assistance '.he School here will be a great oenefit to the district. — [Own Correspondent.]
