A disastrous railway accident has occurred near Doncaster, two excursion trains having come into collision. So far as is known, twenty persons were ; killed, and fully seventy injured. London, September 18. 1 Further particulars of the railway accident near Doncaster state that twenty-four persons were killed, and 1 sixty injured. The victims were all > residents in Sheffield. ' The railway accident at Doncaster ' was caused owing to a change from the block system to flags, while excursion trains were being run to the Doncasta races.
