ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION.

Sir Graham Berry has asked Mr. Goschen, Chancellor of the Exchequer* whether the English Government will contribute £5000 towards defraying the cost of an Antarctic exploring expedition, provided that a similar amount is contributed by the Australian colonies.
