PROPOSED INLAND PARCEL POST.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. 1 The postal authorities have for some time had the establishment of an inland parcel post system in view, and arrangements are ao far forward that tenders will Boon be called for the necessary baskets, hampers, boxes, &c. This new branch of the service will begin operations in the early part of the coming winter.
