THE NATIVES AND THEIR LANDS.
[BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. The Government intend'to take steps to permit natives, as their titles become individualised, to deal with their land in their own light, certain restrictions being imposed as to area. Some of the natives own, individually, a very large amount of land, and it is not thought desirable to offer facilities to dispose of such holdings in globo.
