FIRE BRIGADE CONFERENCE.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Thursday. At the Fire Brigade Conference to-day, requests were received from Nelson and Christohurch to hold next year's demonstration at those places. By the chairman's casting vote Christchurch was selected. Captain Mitchell (Port Chalmers), was elected president; Captain Page (Wellington), and Lieutenant Smith (Christchurch), vice-presi-dents and Fireman Gilbert (Napier), was re-elected secretary.
