Aden, February 1. News has been received from Massowah that the Abyssinian force, under the rebel chief Ras Alula, attacked and routed three companies of Italian troops, on whom they inflicted heavy loss.
Rome, February 1
In the Chamber of Deputies last night M. Depretis, President of the Council of Ministers, asked for a vote of five million lire for the despatch of reinforcements to Massowah.
