FATAL BATHING ACCIDENT.

[by telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.! Nelson, Wednesday. A young man, named Wilson, 20 years of age, was drowned this evening whilst bathing in the river Maitaia. He was swimming across a deep hole when suddenly he sank, and though he was got out by some lads before actually dead, efforts to resuscitate him was unsuccessful.
