DESTRUCTIVE FIRE AT DUNEDIN.
« [BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Ddnedin, Wednesday. A fire broke out this evening in the wholesale warehouse of Hogg, flowison, and Co., and a large amount of damage was done by fire and water, but the actual loss ie not ascertainable. One portion of the building is used as a bonded warehouse. The insurances amount to £20,000. The following are the companies interested : London and Lancashire, £2500 ; Northern, £1500; South British, £5000 (£3OOO reinsured); North British, £1000; Royal. £4000 ; Colonial, £4000 ; Equitable, £2500. Most of the companies are reinsured to some extent.
