The Englishmen, who yesterday lost 8 wickets for 191, resumed their innings, which closed for 201. Being in a minority of 83 the visitors had to follow on, and when the stumps were drawn had lost 9 wickets for 227—Barlow, bowled, 12 ; Barnes, caught, 13 ; Shrewsbury, caught, 62 ; Read, caught, 33; Scotton, run out, 3; Bates, bowled, 21 ; Briggs, caught, 7 ; Gunn, caught, 26 ; Flowers, caught, 5 ; Lohmann, not out, 18 ; Sherwin, not out, 3.
