Goldsbro' and 00. held their usual weekly sale this afternoon to a large attendance of home and foreign buyers, competition being animated. 3500 bales were offered, and 3000 were sold. Superior greasy wool sold up to lsperlb; good washed fleece realised 19Jd. THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN GOLDFIELDS. Adelaide, November 3. The Warden at Teetulpa has reported that there are many indications of the Waukaringa goldfields being permanent. THE NEW GOVERNOR OP TASMANIA. Port Louis, November 2. It is rumoured here that Sir John Pope Hennessy, the Governor of the Mauritius, will be appointed to succeed Sir George Strachan as Governor of Tasmania. THE DEFAULTING BANK TELLER. Melbourne, November 3. Stoddart Campbell, the defaulting teller of the Bank of Australasia, was arrested at one o'clock p.m. yesterday. Since then he has been liberated on bail. MELBOURNE MARKETS. Melbourne, November 3. The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand reports of the local grain market as follows :Wheat is difficult of sale even at a slight reduction, and is quoted at 5s to 5s Id per bushel; barley, which shows no improvement, is 3s 9d to 4s 3d; oats (feed), for which there is a moderate inquiry, are selling at 3s co 3s 3d ; the demand for oats for milling purposes is irregular at 3s '3d to 3s 4d; New Zealand oats under bond are selling at 2s 4d to 2s 6d per bushel. THE ROTOMAHANA. Melbourne, November 3. The Union Oo.'s Kotomahana sailed this afternoon for the Bluff.
