THE DILKE SCANDAL
REHEARING OF THE CASE. THE CO-RESPONDENT IN THE WITNESS-BOX. [renter's cablegram.] London, July 16. The Crawford v. Crawford - Dilke divorce suit is now being re-heard by the Court. Sir Charles Dilke gave evidence to-day, and positively denied the alleged adultery. A Press Association message says: —Sir Charles Dilke has admitted that there were indiscretions in his conduct some eleven years ago, but he denies every accusation of familiarity with Mrs. Crawford. His mother and servants give detailed accounts of his every-day movements. The woman Fanny, whose name was brought up at the trial in the Divorce Court, is still absent from London.
