♦ AUSTRALIANS V. DERBYSHIRE : THE AUSTRALIANS WIN. [rkuter's telegram,] London, June 9. Thk cricket match, Australians v. Eleven of Derbyshire, . waa resumed and, concluded yesterday. The attendance was good, and the weather splendid. The Australians continued their innings, and were all disposed of for 191. The home team then went in for their second innings, a.d were all out for 144, the principal score being made by tV. Hall, 41, and F. Kearne, 23. The wicket was lively. Giffon took 9 wickets for 60 runs. The visitors, who required 49 to win, went to the wickets, and succeeded in making the required "amber, with a toss of four wickets. Jones bowled for 13, and Giffen, not out 16, were the only ones who reached double figures. Australian : First innings, 191 second innings (for four wickets), 49 : total, 240. Derbyshire : First innings, 95 ; second innings, 144 total, 239. The Australians thus won the match with six wickets to spare. The following represent Cambridge in the cricket match Australians v.
