YOUNG WOMAN DROWNED AT COX'S CREEK.
*_ SUPPOSED SUICIDE. Yesterday afternoon about two o'clock Mr. Charles Vesey, of Richmond Avenue, acquainted Superintendent Thomson that his sister had been missing from morning. He and his sister were coming into town in a trap he stated, and when near the store of Mr. hi taker she got out and vent in the direction of home, but had never been seen since, although he had made every search. Among other statements he made, it seems tbat since the mysterious drowning of her sister at Motuihi (who is supposed to have been drowned while bathing) she bad been in a depressed state of mind. He had also missed a razor from his room. Steps were taken by the police to aid Mr. Vaaey in his «earoh, but at five o'clock the young man found, to his grief, the body of his sister in Cox's Creek, at a point 200 yards from their residence.
