[BY TiCLEGRAPH.— OWS CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Tuesday evening. Sharemarkbt.— Cambria, sellers 11s 6d; Darwin, 10s 3d, 11s 6d, lie; Cross, sellers 9d; Moanataiari, sellers 14s; Albumin, sellers 2s 6d. Moanataiari.—An underhand stope is being carried along the floor of the drive. There are two feet of quartz, and dabs and colours of gold are seen. Albdbnia.—Breaking down quartz hu commenced, There is a horse of two feet of mullock between the Success and Star of the South lodes. Eaoh is about nine Inohea wide. Only the Success roof has been touched so far, and colours of gold have been seen. Waiotahi.—The shaft is down 63 feet ia good country. 104 tonn of quartz yielded 1230zs gold. The appointment of Mr.. William Corin to the management of the Caledonian mine is Generally admitted to be a judicious one, ome of the other candidates were also admirably qualified for the position. Darwin.—The directors met yesterday, and accepted the tender of Messrs. Inglin and Moßae for the removal and re-ereotion of Queen of Beauty machinery at £142. Mr. George Fraser, sen. (of Messrs. Frascir and Tinne), was appointed inspeotor of the work, and he will be prssent &t the Thames on Thursday morning next, to start the contractors to work. Trenton.—The shaft is down 103 feet. Blanche.—The mine manager report* that gold is seen in the rise.
