ACTION AGAINST A SOLICITOR
[by telegraph.—PßESS association.] Gisborne, Friday. A Maori woman sued Mr. Brassey, lawyor, to recover £2*23 paid to the defendant for the plaintiff two years ago, and which she alleged she had never been able to get. Judgment was given for the plaintiff. Mr .Brassey had presented as a set-olf a bill of costs for £276, which was reduced to £63 on taxation.
