Hawea, for Picton and Nelson ; s.s. Te Anan, for Melbourne, via the South; s.s. Mahinapua, for Lyttelton; Soukar, ship for Newcastle. LYTTELTON, August 24. — Earlshall, from Newcastle. Sailed : Nauphante, for Newcastle; Jane Anderson, for New Plymouth; s.s. Wanaka, for the South ; s.s. Taiaroa, s.s. Kaikoura, and Wakatu, for Wellington. PORT CHALMERS. August 24.—Arrived: Koranul, from the West Coast. Sailed : S.s. Taupo, for Brisbane, via the North ; s.s. Ohau, for Auckland ; s.s. Penguin, for the North. Passengers : Miss Matisland, Mr. and Miss Heckler, Messrs. Davis, Henderson, Morris. WEATHER EXCHANGE. New Zealand: Generally fine, bright weather, with westerly and north-west winds ; strong wind on the West Coast, and heavy sea ; stormy with squalls of rain over the centre yesterday and during night.
