Crown grant No. 1 was to! the owner of this island. Thompson a *\d his 'wifo have no communication with ' n e outside world, except when a small sc hooner named the Nautilus visits the ' s iand. They are afflicted with a reliS'iouß niania partly of one form of region, and partly of another. They go a T>out ill nearly a nude state, the male al lowing his hair to take its natural co >urse. On another occasion, the having landed the few stores required by this couple, they allowed them lo be all washed away, as it was a Saint's 4 ay.
