Memorials from the Grafton-road and Worth Shore Circuits, to the effect that students should be allowed to remain their full term at college. The matter was ordered to be forwarded to Conference for consideration. They were asked to state these objections in writing to the Secretary of the committee. The Secretary brought up the report of the committee on affairs connected with the native work. Gittos." It was-de-cided in regard to Maori probationers that Kameka, Hori te Kuri, Wi Warena Pewa, and'M. L. Waiti be examined in writing and orally, and thaf, subject to the examinations proving satisfactory, be recommended to Conference for ordination in the district ; also that Hauraki Paul and Piripi Bakena be similarly examined, and, subject to a satisfactory examination, that they pass in their years.—On the motion of Rev. A. Reid, it was resolved that the Conference be recommended to appoint a probationer to Raglan next year.—On the motion of Rev. J. Dukes it was resolved to recommend to Conference that the subject of Methodist polity be added to the curriculum of the students at Wesley College.—The meeting adjourned till half-pant two p.m. On resuming hymn 739 was sung and prayer was offered by Mr. Bamford. Slade underwent a lengthened examination by the Chairman, at ks conclusion the brethren were unanimously recommended for ordination at the forthcoming Conference.
