[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENTS.] Thames, Wednesday evening. Sharemarket. —Deep Level Cross, sellers la 9d; Imperial, 15s 6d, 16s; Quean ol Beauty, sellers 2s; Waiorongomai, sellers la. Low Level.—The hard bar is giving place to sandstone, and a small leader is coming in. Deep Level Cross.—Driving on the large lode at the 610 feet level has been suspended, and resumed on the gold-bearing leader. A small break has just been passed, and although no gold has been seen, the leader bears a promising appesranoe. In the intermediate level a leader four or five iriohes wide, which may be the footwall leader, is to hand, and is being driven on seaward. It looks well, but no gold has been seen. Coromahdkl, Wednesday. Harbour View. — The tribute, Parks and Buttle, had a splendid crushing of 192 ounces from less than 100 pounds of very rich specimens. 'This is the second crushing since Christmas. The leader is very small. Success.—The following is the mine manager's report received yesterday : —For the week past there is but little of importance to report from the mine. Stoping is being pushed ahead as upeedily as possible, with a little gold showing in the different veins. The lode is still broken, owing to so many oross stringers coming in on the footwall. In the hanging vein there was a dab | of about an ounoe obtained in one pocket. Te Aroha, Wednesday evening. The amalgam returns for the week ending May 12th are :—Colonist, 60 trucks : Tailings, 35oza. 15dwts.; plates, 88oz«. 15dwts.; herdans, 3Sozs. lOdwts : total, 1630z5. New Find, 42 trucks : Tailings, 460z5.; plates, 73oza; berdans, 340z5.: total, 1530z5.— 3160z5. There is no news of any importance from the Hill to-day. Operations are going on as usnal. The Kureka connection tramway is approaching completion. They have a large quantity of payable quartz on hand ready to send down to the battery.
