4. [hT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.! Wellington, Thursday. The Frome Times, an English provincial paper of January 16, states that Mr. J. W. Oram, late of Christchurch, and now residing in England, received by the lonic a consignment of frozen sheep and lamb from his brother, Mr. Harry Oram, of Christchurch. After making a number of presents, Mr. J. W. Oram had the remainder sold by auction in Midsomer Norton and Bath, and it realised an average of 7id per lb by the carcase at Bath, and at Midsomer Norton Sjd per lb for mutton and lOd for lamb. The paper states that the meat was very good and perfectly fresh.
