at his rooms to-day. There was a very good attendance, and the following prices were realised. Some of the property was withdrawn, not reaching the reserve Lot 1, corner of Wellington and Nelson Streets, £11 10s per foot; lot 2, pari; of same allotment, adjoining the above, haviinz a ifrontage to Wellingtonatreet, £9 per foot; lot 3, part of same allotment, adjoining lot No. 1, having a frontage to Nelson-street, £7 5d per foot; lot 4, part of same allotment, adjoining lot No. 3, having a frontage to Nel non-street, £5 12s-6d per foot; lot 5, part of same allotment, having a frontage to Nelson-street, £5 per foot; lot 6, Stan-ley-street, part; of section 11, having a frontage to Stanley-street _of 48 feet, by a depth of SO fset, with tho cottage and large stables thereon, also adjoining thereto, part of allotment No. 19 of same section, (No. 11), 85 feot. 6 inches, by 40 feet, and also, adjoining the last-mentioned parcel of land, allotment No. 19 of said section No. 11, 250 feet by 80 feet, £21 IDs per foot: lot 7, allotment No. 9 of suction No. 11, having a frontage to Stanley-street, £5 5s per foot; lot 8, allotment No. 10 of B&id section No. 1, having a frontage to Stanley-street, £4 on per foot; lot 9, allotment 30, section 6, villsge of Drury, containing 1 rood and 4 perches, more or less, corner of Wharf atd Quay Streots, with a frontags to Slippery Creek, £5 for lot; lot 10, allotment No. 19, parish of Waipareira, county of Eden, containing-. 220 acres, and growing thereon a large number of kauri trees, £1 12s 6d per acre.

'J: here is a demand for goad quality, but little good bacon entered; fruit stocks light, prices firmer. Butter: But little to demand, no good to hand. Properties (freehold) : There is an increaiiDg demand, at advanced prices; a farm of 100 acrcs of stoney land, at the. font of Mount Wellington, near St. John's College, sold i.t £1700 cash ; an allotment off College Hill, broken land, on an unmade street, sold at £2 per foot. Wednesday: Sale of fruit at Mart; a lair attiradancu; apples 30ld at 6s 3d to 10s Sd per case ; bananas, 2d per lb ; jam (Hobart), 5s 9d to 6s; Nelson, 4;i. Tho furniture sale was fairly attended, but bidding was languid. Friday: Market day *ale, poultry, produce, fruit, &c. # at mart. The attendance was not so lot go a 9 usual. Bidding dull. Poultry were entered in fair quantity, and realised a good price, but somewhat lower than for several weeks past.
