ARCHITECTS' AND BUILDERS' DISPUTE.

A mkktinu of the Auckland Institute of Architects took place yestcri'ay afternoon, at the ollices of -Mr. P. Herapath, architect, Queen-street There was a good attendance, and Mr. I'. 11. Herapath (president) presided. Tin; ImsiiiK.ss- of the meeting was to consider a letter which had been received from the Builders' Association to the effect that until a.set of building conditions were prepared by mutual consent, the members of the association would not tender for work in the ollices of architects, members of the Institute. After a general discussion on the above communication, a resolution was carried to :he ed'ect that the secretary be instructed to write to the Builders' Association, informing them that if they desired to send a deputation to the Institute they were at liberty to do so.
