CHALLENGE FROM REYNOLDS TO HEARN.
[BY TELEGKA.PH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] vVellington, Thursday. A letter has been received from Reynolds, the New South Wales sculler, to the effect that he his willing to row Hearn for £100. Hearn is quite willing to accept this challenge, and to allow £25 for expenses should he come to Wellington. Probably the match will be arranged.
Mr. N. Harker, 27, Qu"en-street, advertises for a quantity of split kauri staves for making hogsheads. We have to acknowledge the following sums for Mrs. Mason (per Captain Fox) : Mr. Green, 10s; Mr. Nathaa, 10s.
