DEATH OF DR. COTTERILL.

Kews has been received of the death in London of Dr. Cotterill, late of this town, and well-known in most parts of the South Island The cause of death was an abscess in the region ef the back, for which he had to undergo two operations. He succumbed duriDg the performance of the second.
