LATEST WELLINGTON NEWS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Friday. THE MINISTERIAL SITUATION. TriEKE is no change in the Ministerial situation, except that I regret to hear that Mr. I Hall is not so ivell to-day. THE REVENUE. j I understand that, allowing for the revenue items which have fallen short of the estimate, the net result of the year's receipts is about £140,000 to the good as compared with the estimate. The complete return of expenditure will not be made up for at least another week, and of course nntil these are to hand it will be impossible to .ascertain the exact amount of the balance to the good, but it will probably be considerably over £100,000. This refers to the consolidated fund and its expenditure. The land sales revenue is, as you know, kept entirely separate, and this year's sales have, I hear, fallen short oi the estimates by about £20,000. MINISTERS. Mr. Hall is too ill to attend the Christchurch Exhibition, Mr. Walter Johnston, however, left tor the South to-diiy. Mr Bryce does not return to Wellington until next Tuesday or Wednesday. POSTAL SAVINGS BANK.
