On the passage down very rough weith-sr w.vs encountered, and the vessel lay to during the night under the Mercuries. She brings the following cargo :—3O sacks wheat, 2 bales and 3 bag 3 wool, 16 pigs, and a few packages sundries. The Wellington returned to Tauranga at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. j The "Union S.S. Co.*3 s.a. Kin<;arooma is j announced to leave for Melbourne viu. Southern ports at 10 o'clock thi3 morning. As the p.s. Enterprise was proceeding to the Thames on Wednesday night her machinery broke down, when off Waiheke, and sbe returned to town under sail. Upon examination, it was found that hf»r crank was broken. Tenders were invited for effecting repairs, and that of Messrs. Fraser and Tinne was accepted. She -will probably be ready to resume running on Monday. During the gale the 24-feet boat Kiwi (formerly Missing: Link) sank in Freeman's Bay, and became a total wreck. The wind had died away, and last night was almost calm. The wind was almost due north. FORT OF ONEHUNGA. The s.s. Macgregor is announced to leare for Waitctra on Monday at 1 p.m. BY ThhlS G R A PH. RUSSELL. March IG.—Colliers are still windbound, the wind continuing from the eastward. The gale on Tuesday wag the heaviest we have had for some time. The s.s, Glenelg sailed at 9 a.m. for the North. The a.s. sails at 5 p.m. for Auckland. Passengers : —Messrs. Nelson, Archer, Busby, Judge O'Brien, Miss and 6 others.
