VALEDICTORY TO REV. MR. HALL.

The Rev. Mr. Hall preached a most impressive farewell sermon at Drury on Sunday evening, the 12th inst., after which he administered the Lord's Supper to several of his friends. The rev. gentleman is leaving shortly for Home, to see his aged father and relatives, and carries the well wishes of all classes, irrespective of creed, with him. After the service a purse of sovereigns was pr-sented, and the following address : — The Rev. Mr. Hall : Rev. .anil Dear Sir, — Wc, the churchwardens of the Church at Drury, on your demission of your charge here, on behalf of our* selves and the members of this Church, desire to express our deep regret at your leaving us, after so many years of faithful and devoted servicc as pastor of this congregation, the duties pertaining to which you have so zealously and assiduously discharged regardless of personal labour and fatigue. As a small token of our regard, we present you with this purse. In bidding you farewell you carry with you our best wishes for your future welfare. Hoping that you, Mrs. Ilall, and your youngest son may have a ptosperous voyage, a happy meeting with your relatives and friends in Ireland, and that you may be spared for manv years to labour in your Master's service.—G.
