Unable to obtain the services of Mr. Brvcp the Ministry have resorted to auotherold colleague. The Otago Daily Times an. nounces, on authority, that Mr. Oliver lately Minister of Public Works, is to joia the Ministry without portfolio, and is to be called to the Upper House. Mr. Oliver resigned some time since owing to his bnsines* engagements, but he found afterwards thr he was not required, and could go into politics. Since then, there has beenfrenuent talk of his again joining the Ministry. What is -wanted, however, is a Minister of Public Works, and we have no word, as yet, as to who he is to be.
